HOW TO ORDER EXPANSION JOINTS  
When ordering, please provide the following information to enable 
our engineering department to supply the expansion joint that 
best suits your needs.

New Installation
1. Nominal pipe sizes being connected
2. Flange data : ID, OD, bolt circle, number of bolts, etc.
3. Working pressure, vacuum and temperature
4. Media conveyed
5. Maximum movements; axial compression, axial extension, lateral deflection, angular deflection, degrees of torsional
6. Control rods and retaining rings required?
7. U.S. Coast Guard or other approvals required?
8. Type of equipment in system (cooling tower, etc)
9. Material of desired joint, tube and cover, if known
Replacement
1. All information requested above
2. Make and model of unit being replaced
3. Construction of unit being replaced (metal, rubber, single arch, PTFE tube, etc.)
4. Are new retaining rings and control rods required?

Designed to isolate noise and vibration from piping systems and to relieve strain and misalignment, APOLLO pump connectors are available in 1/2 " through 24 " pipe sizes. The tube is constructed of corrugated stainless steel tubing covered with a single or double braid of stainless steel.
 
       

STYLE 31 - Expansion Joints

Designed to absorb motion in piping systems, APOLLO stainless steel expansion joints are available in 2" through 48" pipe sizes. APOLLO expansion joints are formed from annealed stainless steel sheet stock which is corrugated and seam welded. A single-ply (MP) or double-ply (HP) tube is used, depending on working pressures.
 
       
 

STYLE 109 - ENGINE EXHAUST JOINTS

Designed for diesel exhaust and other engine exhaust applications, APOLLO engine exhaust joints are formed from light-gauge stainless steel tube stock, resulting in a light and very flexible connector. End fittings are usually "A" type, see below.

Male nipples are available in either weld-neck style or threaded NPT. Either raised-face 150# forged flanges or flat face ductile iron. Same as "B", but ends of joint are flared. All wetted parts stainless steel. Flanges can be carbon steel or stainless steel and rotate for easy alignment.
